Dr. Bruce Rodger, DVM, graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1977. He joined a practice in Prince George, BC where he worked for 8 years. In 1985, Bruce and his wife Pamela, along with their two children Keri and Simon moved to Bragg Creek, Alberta where they built and started the Bragg Creek Animal Hospital. After 20 years, Bruce & Pamela sold the practice.
Dr. Rodger is now working 4 days weekly at Marda
Loop Veterinary Services in Calgary (243-8873). There he has introduced
the new service of Laparoscopic
surgery which is an innovative and exciting way to perform surgeries
with small incisions, minimal pain, and rapid recovery.
Bruce
is a very experienced diagnostician and is available for consultation
for clients needing a second opinion. He is maintaining a low key House

Dr. Rodger became certified in
Veterinary Acupuncture in 1998. He was a teaching assistant at the
course in Vancouver in 2002. A subsequent course in Chinese medicine and
Herbology with Steve Marsden in Edmonton has expanded the treatment
